I remember back when people used code names to denote their crushes. I say back then as more of a phase rather than a time period. It's not "out" or anything, but I used to do that when I was younger... So many frickin things make me frickin nostalgic nowadays! Seriously, by the time I'm 50, every other thing is going to make me remember something from the past and I'm going to be totally disfunctional. Mulan... Bob Monkey... remember those, guys? Not many, if any, know about Akima. I introduced ICQ to Mulan. Haha, I remember the very first time I emailed her. Back then, besides ICQ, email was pretty much the main means of communication. AIM was unheard of, or at least to me it was anyways. It was a Sunday, I believe, and I was using my laptop on the kitchen counter. I don't know who sent the initial email, but after numerous replies within a short time period, she emailed back with, "okay, it's obvious you're online... do you go into any chatrooms?" We emailed back and forth for a while, but it eventually came to a stop. Wow. Nostalgia is a funny feeling. It's half happiness, half sadness, half bewilderment.
