I'm going to abandon the use of pinyin for Cantonese, seeing as how it does not contain representations of all the sounds of Cantonese words. [e.g. ngo] So I'm just gonna go with phonetic spellings from now on. And by the way, Zesty, ngo mm oiy leng zhay, ho oiy chou zhay!! I think I should include a bit of Cantonese in every update.
By the way, I have a piano recital rounding the corner tomorrow night. The good news is my piece is really cool. The bad news is--from all that heavy moving and lifting at Stanford on Monday for sister and The Guitar Guy, I am now rendered a useless pianist. I'm considering not playing.
