Rented and watched A Guy Thing. It was a pretty decent movie. Julia Stiles is pretty good looking. Selma Blair not so much, but I'll give an A for effort. Every so often I like to watch cheap, predictable movies just cuz I want the satisfaction, once again, of a happy ending. The ending of A Guy Thing, by the way, was exactly how I had predicted it would be when I first saw the previews for it. Sorry if I spoiled it for everyone reading this, but it's not like it was a big surprise. The whole premise of the movie is that he has to choose between the woman he was going to marry and the woman who comes in and shows him how to be happy in life. Gee, I wonder. I liked it, though. It was an overall satisfying movie.
Though, I have to comment on the one movie that proved me wrong. Remember Forces of Nature? It was a movie from a year or two ago with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck if you guys don't remember. The plot was somewhat similar, with the same underlying theme. Guy gets stuck in a city with this woman who shows him how to live life, and meanwhile his fiancée is waiting for him at home. My instincts told me then [as they do now] that he would stay with the girl who shows him the fun and happiness in life and all that. In the end, he went with his original wife. That was pretty crazy. That's all I remember though. Sorry once again if you were planning on watching that old, old movie. I'm sure I didn't ruin your viewing experience too much.
Wow, in response to Aaron's comment about being an INTJ--when I was reading the description for INTJ, I kept thinking to myself, "This sounds a lot like Aaron." I also was outraged at being called introverted. I'm anything but!!
