Wow. Yesterday was ... a change from the norm, I guess I could say.

It all began like any summer day. Birds chirping, wind blowing, Gordon waking up, eating breakfast, and sitting at the computer for several hours. Then it got all crazio. I went to the library for three hours to volunteer. You wouldn't believe the stuff they make you do there. They ... have you shelve the books. And scan the books. Okay, so it's not as crazio as you all were probably thinking.

But then it got really crazio. I came back home, changed into my shirt, tie, and black pants, and then wrote last minute stuff on Janice and Mark's cards. I then left for the their grad party. My dad circled around the back parking lot thinking that the party would be somewhere in the back. I looked at the parking lot and said, "Uh... I think there would be more cars." Seriously, there were clusters of three cars spread throughout the parking lot. Then we went back to the front, where we saw the sign "CW 2003 Grad Party" or something of that sort. When I walked in, a bunch of people were standing around. I couldn't recognize anyone in the dark, but my eyes slowly adjusted. As I was walking by ... uh, I think Lily AY touched my butt or somewhere ridiculously near it. I hope she doesn't read this. Anyways, yeah, she was like, "Awww, Gordon, how cute." The party was pretty nicely done, with a DJ and waiters and Aaron freaking Stephanie. Yeah, I bet I caught the attention of everyone reading this just now. Unfortunately, that would be Aaron Chong. I believe that's how his last name is spelled. After a couple hours, however, I lost interest in watching the dancing. Even watching Lily AY and David Sharp dance was somewhat dull after a while ... Let's just say, it was pretty scandalous. I don't think their dancing was fit for young eyes. I'd be lying if I said I haven't imagined what it would be like, but then again, I imagine that I'd be too uncomfortable to be in that type of situation. All the people who weren't cool enough to dance sat around in a circle by the tables and plotted on how to get Stephanie out to the dance floor. In the end, Emily, Melissa, John, and I decided to go to John's house.

As I left the room, I thought to myself, "I'll most likely never see most of these people ever again..." This grad party was the last big thing that I'd ever see a mass gathering of seniors at. Next year, that will be me. Those dirty dancing seniors will be my friends. And after years and years of knowing them, of slapping Aaron [Otani] on the back, of lending tissues to Stephanie, of seeing Andy in a woman's dress on more than one occasion ... we just part ways. Even if you go to the same college as your friends, it's like going to the same high school as your elementary school friends. I still say hi to Arjun everytime I walk past him, and we have the same math class still, but that's it. As for the rest of my fellow Valley Oak alumni, I hardly ever have any contact with them. What's to stop college from being exactly like that? Okay, enough of the future. Back to yesterday.

We had to stay on Blackstone for perhaps the longest amount of time ever recorded in the history of mankind, because Emily wasn't allowed to go on the freeway. Stopped at In-'N-Out for Melissa to get a milkshake, then at my place to get the comp video, then to John's house where we got a grand tour of his mansion and watched the comp video. His computer made it really laggy at times, but it was still viewable. Then I went home.

I usually don't like to spell out the entire day's happening's here, lest I lose my readers' interest, but I made an exception today because I felt like it.

By the way, it feels good to be back. I'm somewhat disappointed that I spent all that time trying to fix up waycooldude, but oh well. I suppose it's for the best.
