So while I was at the library, doing their useless housekeeping, my dad called Milne Photographerpeople and rescheduled my senior photo on my behalf to let my hair grow out longer. It's going to be on July 22nd. Yes. 2003. That is the year. At first I felt outraged. This was just outrageous! But after my rage subsided, I realized that there wasn't really anything to be outraged over. Last year's birthday wasn't exactly spectacular. I sat at my grandma's for three hours doing nothing. I guess birthdays, like the rest of the holidays, don't really mean that much to me anymore. I guess you could say my birthday is like a new Harry Potter book. It's just all hype over nothing. =P
I realized that I constantly am unaware of people IMing me due to my lack of a normal IM sound for messages received. [I have Moo for the first one received] So I searched and searched and found a great IM sound in the generic Windows/Media/ folder. It's like the default sound except it sounds like piano sorta. It's called "Windows XP Print complete" ... but hey, it works! And it's not too loud, so it doesn't bother me. The reason I did away with the IM sound in the first place was because it got so annoying whenever I got like five billion IMs at once.
On my way back from the library, I saw, for the FIRST TIME EVER[!!], a cow running. It was an exhilarating experience. If you've never seen a cow run... it's crazy. It looked like it was trying to gallop like a horse, only less gracefully. I imagine it to look somewhat like Soutchay. Don't ask why. And it was the weirdest cow ever. Its body was totally white except for its totally black face. I don't know what to make of it. I've never seen such a sight. It really cheered me up.
It's good that my dad found a nail in his fried rice.
