I was just watching the government episode of The Simpsons where Krusty is elected to Congress. There's a lot of jokes that I wouldn't have gotten if I hadn't taken AP Gov last year. For example, at the end when Krusty's bill is passed as law, he exclaims, "Wow! I'm suddenly enchanted and illusioned with Washington!!" Mr Price, that was for you. I considered taping it for you, but I only realized that it was the government episode with like twenty minutes left and I would have had to find a tape to record on. =/ Next time.
Why are they called milliseconds? There are only one hundred of them in a second. Shouldn't they be called centiseconds? This is my sad attempt at being a philosopher and philosopherizing the many different units of time. Don't you hate it when you start philosopherizing and suddenly someone runs away with a box of fried rice and chicken on Food Booth Friday? People who steal are annoying. However, I know that they'll grow up to flip my hamburgers and shine my shoes. No offense to hamburger flippers and shoeshiners. They are very dignified professions, just ones that I believe are more appealing to criminals.
When I arrived at Tsai Wong's 4th period, I was very surprised to find that 1) it was a Chinese 2 class and 2) Christina was apparently TAing for Tsai Wong again. I said hi to her to be polite, but was in turn ignored. So if that's how it's gonna be, that's how it's gonna be. I was kinda surprised at the people I saw in there, though. I saw Bahjah, that girl who sits to my left in World [i snuck a look at her name today; it's See I think], and of course most of the Bourgeoisie Asian Posse. Speaking of World, Maria Cecilia is incredibly funny. [To everyone who doesn't know her, she's a foreign exchange student I think... or some type of foreign. I think she was in the newspaper today in that foreign students article] And who would've thought she's a senior!! At the end of World today I found myself explaining to her the definition of "whacked out." Uh oh. I guess I should have told her that it's slang or else she'll start using it in her everyday conversations.
Okay. Here is the game plan, people. I want to see a movie. I know you do, too. I would generally prefer an R rated movie now that we're old enough to see them. People who aren't old enough to see R rated movies are welcome to come, too, and ... we'll ... work ... something ... ... ... out. [**wink**] Tell me if you're interested. Especially you, Zesty. You know you want to go. Baby Theo knows she wants to go, too. Oh darn... Melissa, you forgot to dig up a pic of Theo! Dear. Oh yeah, I want to see a scary movie! Or a funny movie. Or an action movie. Kill Bill looks good.
T-Shirt list: Key Club, Enviro, Old Enviro, Science Olympiad, Math Team, Bio, and possibly Torch. I want them all.
