I'M SICK OF people saying "Don't criticize it until you've tried it." Perhaps. Does that mean that all people who haven't tried gay marriage shouldn't condemn it? All people who haven't killed someone shouldn't speak ill of murder? Those who have never used drugs shouldn't engage in a war against them? The same goes for abortion, money laundering, child labor, pickpocketing, assassinating the President, stealing your best friend's boyfriend or girlfriend, eating the last slice of pie without consulting others, and every other conceivable offense to humanity. Police*, people! One should not be limited to one's beliefs based solely upon what one has and hasn't tried.
