The Much Awaited

22:53 Thursday, January 13

Thinking my eye itches.
Feeling a little chilly.
Should be reviewing zhongwen.

Here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for:

We rejoin Gordon on his quest to learn to ice skate. Sadly, he falls three and a half times, but since his preoccupation with looking as little like a fool as possible prevented him from documenting his ice skating experience, there will be nothing for you to see here except for a long and convoluted sentence.

This is a rather nice picture. The ground was blanketed in snow. Bethany and Catherine screamed at the top of their lungs, "There's none on the trees!!" but I was rather content with just enough snow to pose as a hazard to my footing.

Sometimes, all you need to warm you up is just a burning piece of dead tree five feet in front of you. Hey, I'm not complaining. More joules for me. Besides, we stayed here for like a year and it was something I imagine would be tantamount to Dante's Paradiso.

Here are the Fong sisters. Not that I had to explicitly say it--the resemblance is astounding! So, right. It's Catherine on the left and Bethany on the right.

That's Bethany again, but some random guy is doing something really weird behind her. Not that it's not the coolest thing I've ever seen, it's just that it's strange when people you don't know come up behind you and start to do really really cool things without you knowing.

This is the Fong Family's beloved canine, Corgi. He enjoys running around the living room, racing up and down the stairs, as well as back and forth in the hall. I saved his life by picking out a tick from his fur after dinner, but it probably just jumped back on afterwards. So technically, I didn't save him. I'm sorry.

We went to the lake by Bethany's house.

Hey! Look... a friend.

Um.

Man's best friend kept sliding on the divider and eventually had to settle for Catherine's lap in the backseat, but for those five seconds, we had a special connection in the car.

Thus concludes Gordon's trip to Bethanyville. Where he ends up next, no one knows. Except for Gordon, of course.
