I just found out something semi-major about my friend. My friend wasn't the one that told me and the fact that I wasn't told directly hurt a little bit. I try to be rational and say, "Hey, it's not necessarily my business" but I'm only human. Maybe when I inquire about it in one week, the answers will become clear and my mind will be put at ease.
This makes me wonder: how well do I actually know my friends? More importantly, how close are we? I thought we had gotten pretty close, but this issue seems like something that close friends tell one another. Am I being overly dramatic? Possibly. Am I still the coolest wildcat ever to wander the streets of Palo Alto? Without a doubt.
P.S. It's depressing when you lose a friend to his/her girl/boyfriend.
