I'm not a huge follower of American Idol, I saw a couple episodes this season and tuned in for a few performances tonight. However, I was reading an article about the performances tonight and found this quote particularly amusing.
[Regarding contestant Alexis Grace] When the judges told her to "dirty herself up" after her initial auditions, she didn't go out and get tattoos or do anything too crazy. She put a little pink in her hair. Voila! Now she's superficially edgy, essentially sweet and the perfect "Idol" contestant.
